FRANCE. 5 Francs, 1814-A. Paris Mint. PCGS AU-55 Gold Shield.
Gad-591; KM-702.1; VG-2363. A handsomely designed type from the short-lived First Restoration (1814-1815), featuring the broad bust of Louis XVIII in full uniform on the obverse with the crowned arms of France on the reverse. Signs of handling consistent for the grade displaying deep old cabinet tone. Clearly an example which sat for a prolonged period of time.
Estimate: $100.00- $150.00
