Harihara II earned numerous titles including Vaidikamarga Sthapancharya and Vedamarga Pravartaka under his rule. He continued to expand the territory of the kingdom ruling from the capital Vijayanagara (modern day Hampi) eventually gaining control of such ports as Goa, Chaul, and Dabhol in the northwest to the south of the river Krishna. During his fight against the Reddis of Konadvidu he delegated Yaduraya Wodeyar, the first ruler of the future mighty kingdom of Mysore, to rule Mysore and suppress the Dalvoys. Well struck on a compact flan with plenty of luster and just a hint of orange tone in the periphery.
