38 mm; 22.18 gms. Basso-723(plate coin); Richter-2109a; Honeycutt-44(plate coin). Arms of Manila over crossed flags; Reverse: Target over crossed rifles within wreath. The dating of this medal is based on examples seen that still contain the original ribbon and and date bar of "1893". Mount removed at 12 o'clock as noted on the NGC insert. An attractive example despite its shortcomings displaying light grey tone which deepens towards the edges and devices. An interesting aspect of Philippines numismatics with much crossover appeal.
