Virtually complete shield with clear mintmark and bold denomination, important parts of legend such as beginning of king's name and ordinal clear, Fleur de lis evenly spaced in the arms of Burgundy. Bold full cross with intricately engraved castles and lions, assayer's letter in lower right quadrant. An attractive example with nearly all of the pertinent design features clear and present and light attractive grey patina displaying a thin veneer of champagne hue.
