6.72 gms. Cal-Type 122; KM-17.6; cf.Cayon-4589/4655. Nearly complete shield, with decent mintmark. Nearly complete cross with full castles and one full lion. When compared to the plates in Calico the present example matches closest to Type 122 which ranges in date from 1602-12. Struck with a rusty obverse die on a somewhat compact flan with most of the legends missing. A bit bright from being cleaned as noted on the NGC insert. The obverse displays light golden tone while the reverse is few shade lighter.
