Very Fine.

From the inventory of a North American dealer.

The renewal of the Great Sothic Cycle of 1,461 years, which starts when the star Sothis (Sirius) rises on the same point of the horizon as the sun, is commemorated in the reverse type of this tetradrachm struck in the second year of Pius' reign. An attractive type, it was subsequently reintroduced n the sixth year of his reign.
