Halfcrown 1683 TRICESIMO QVINTO ESC 490, No stop after HIB, VF with pleasing tone, the obverse with two long scratches. Rare in all grades above Fine. Cataloguers Note: the 1992 edition of ESC recorded the edge for 1683 as ESC 490, the Bull edition records TRICESIMO QVARTO for this year and the TRICESIMO QVINTO edge for the 'Plume below bust' variety. Both types are listed with 'No stop after HIB' as has this piece. We also note that all our previous sales of 1683 Halfcrowns have the TRICESIMO QVINTO edge
