KINGS of MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great'. 336-323 BC. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 17.13 g, 10h). Susa mint. Struck under Koinos, circa 324/3-323 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; monogram in left field and below throne. Price 3832. Good VF, lightly toned, fine cleaning marks on reverse. Very rare, only one in CoinArchives (CNG E-383, lot 53, hammer $1100), none in Pella, two in ANS photofile, three cited by Price.
