Charles I (1625-1649), Truro mint, Halfcrown, mm. rose, small on obv., large on rev., King, holding marshal's baton aloft, galloping three-quarters left, rev. oblong scroll-garnished shield surmounted by lis, c r at sides, 14.65g/4h (Bull 652/6 (66-2), this coin; Besly B6, and BNJ 1992, pl. 10, this coin; SCBI Brooker 1015; N 2535; S 3047). Marginally off-centre, characteristic die-crack by horse's tail, good very fine, an exceptional and desirable specimen of the highest rarity £8,000-£10,000
