Robert Hogben – the Three Tuns tavern, Tanner's Green, Faversham, on Spink ticket of 1972; it was to the Queen's Arms that James II was brought after he had been apprehended trying to flee the country in 1688; Francis Waterman, the Mercers' Arms, was mayor of Faversham in 1665 and again in 1681. He died in 1707 and is buried in the Parish Church. The last on Spink ticket, September 1973.
