L. Calpurnius Piso Frugi. 90 B.C. AR denarius (19.5 mm, 3.69 g, 5 h). Rome mint. Laureate head of Apollo right; behind, control-marks: leaf (?) and VIIII / L PISO FRVGI, naked horseman galloping to right holding palm-branch, above, XXVII; beneath, name // ROMA in monogram in exergue. RRC 340/1; RSC/Bab Calpurnia 6-12. VF, fields a little rough, overcleaned in the past, retoning gracefully.
