Gordian III. A.D. 238-244. AR antoninianus (22.2 mm, 3.92 g, 2 h). Uncertain eastern mint, possibly Antioch, Struck A.D. 243/4. IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian III right, seen from behind / FORTVNA REDVX, Fortuna seated left holding rudder and cornucopiae, no wheel beneath seat. RIC IV 210 ; RSC 98a. Good VF / Near VF, boldly struck obverse in good style, reverse somewhat weakly struck and off-center, lightly toned .
