Constantine I. A.D. 307/10-337. AE 3 centenionalis (18 mm, 3.28 g, 7 h). Siscia mint, Struck A.D. 318-320. CONSTANTINVS P F AVG, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Constantine I right / VICTORIAE LAETAE PRINC PERP, two Victories standing facing, heads turned towards each other, holding between them a shield inscribed VOT / PR in two lines atop a short cippus or altar with an X design on it. RIC VII 53 var. (unlisted with this bust type: RIC's "D2" - possibly unofficial?). EF, smooth dark olive patina.
RIC does not list this bust type (helmeted and cuirassed without spear or shield) for any of the Siscia VLPP's. It may be an exceptionally well-engraved contemporary copy or a previously unrecorded variant
