Constantinople mint. +ЄMMA - [NOVHA], nimbate facing bust of Christ with two pellets in each limb of cross in nimbus, earing pallium and colobium and holding book of Gospels, cover ornamented with central pellet with border of dots; to left, IC; to right, XC / +IhSЧS / XRISTЧS / bASILEЧ / bASILЄ , inscription in four lines, pellets in spaces above and beneath. SBCV 1813. Good VF, well-centered on medallic flan; facial details clear; green patina with areas of ochre in recesses and fields.
