A rare pair of Dinka Prestige Spoons from the Sudan, ca. early 20th century. They are 7-1/8? and 6-7/8? long and are forged from aluminum. Both are in very fine condition with fine, aged patina. Such objects are quite valued among the native population and used as currency in dowries. This pair was collected in situ prior to 1978. Ex Florida collection. Value range: $250 - $400.
