Macedon, Thessalonica. Trajan. A.D. 98-117. AE 27 (26.7 mm, 17.87 g, 7 h). Struck A.D. 98-103. [ΤΡΑΙΑΝΟС ΚΑΙСΑΡ] (or similar, totally illegible), laureate head of Trajan right / ΘЄССΑΛΟΝΙΚЄ-ωΝ, Nike walking left holding wreath and palm, in field, crescent. Cf. RPC III 617 (no crescent, reverse). F, not unattractive for the degree of wear - dark patina.
