(S/M #C262-3) A tough wide format Chung Hwa Republic note seen here with minimal handling. These 100 Dollar Gold certs are extremely rare, and certainly missing from many collections of obscure Chinese money. Several 10 Dollar notes have passed through our hands, but this elusive 100 Dollar type is one which is seldom found anywhere. The note offered here is also of incredible quality with vivid inks seen throughout the heavy geometric lathed design. Seen printed on watermarked bond paper and with left margin hand stamps. Deep blue color is noticed at the "100," counters at left and right along with central flag design. The back exhibits great visual appeal having intricate detail of the engraving work. PMG comments "Restoration."
