A pristine Provisional Issue, and the largest denomination of the sought after Animal Series printed for Burundi(with Burundi overprint on face). Zebra vignette found at right with intricate colorful lathework adorning the empty space of the note. Wonderful centering is noted, as these pieces are typically skewed left to right or top to bottom. A black "BURUNDI" overprint across the face. This is above and beyond the finest we have offered for the type in fully issued form. Only four examples are certified in the PMG census, and none of them are in original condition. This note, found here in Gem, is to our knowledge the finest known example.
