3 pieces in lot. This is the first time we have offered this trio of specimens that are surely missing from even advanced collections of Japanese paper money. The 1000 Yen, Pick 100s, shows with Natsume Kinosuke at right, with red-crowned cranes on the reverse and found in a CEF 45EPQ holder. The 5000 Yen, Pick 101s, has a portrait of Nitobe Inazu at right, and Mount Fuji on the reverse, encapsulated in a Gem Unc 66EPQ holder. The highest denomination, Pick 2012s, is a 10,000 Yen with Fukuzawa Yukichi at right, and pheasants on the reverse, certified as an About Unc 53 EPQ.
