STRAITS SETTLEMENTS. British Administration. 1 Dollar, KNB17 1925-30. P-9cts. Color Trial Specimen. PMG Uncirculated 60 Net. Previously Mounted.
(KNB17) Printed by TDLR. An ultra rare Color Trial of the first date and signature combination of the issue. This color trial shows with a TDLR Oval overprint on the face, with palm trees on each side. A bright blue and green color throughout the note in lieu of the red color found on the adopted issued design. A well defined beach seen on the reverse. This design in any form is seldom available above a heavily circulated VF level. Previously Mounted mentioned in the comment section which is noticed only on the back left with very minor hinging permeating to frontal visibility. A truly remarkable piece, definitely missing from collections throughout the Commonwealth.
