CHINA. Yunnan Sanchuo Jieding. Provincial Three Stamp Remittance Ingots. Silver 5 Tael Bank Ingot, ND. VERY FINE.
192.33 gms. BMC-Class LXVI Group I #888. "Guan Gong Gu Zhou Chen Kan" (Inspected by official public assayers Zhou and Chen). "Guan Gong Gu Tong She Kan" (Inspected by official public assayers Tong and She). "Chen Tong Shun Hao Hui Hao Wen Yin" (Chentongshun Bank, remittance bank fine silver). The outer left, right and central stamps were all deeply applied with full rendering of the characters, though the central stamp does exhibit slight weakness due to a natural defect from when the ingot was originally poured. The middle side stamps are nearly complete missing only minor portions of the characters. Light russet tone with minor earthen deposited amongst the various stamps.
