CHINA. Yunnan Sanchuo Jieding. Provincial Three Stamp Remittance Ingots. Silver 5 Tael Bank Ingot, ND. EXTREMELY FINE.
181.52 gms. cf.BMC-Class LXVI Group I #922. "Guan Gong Gu Tong She Kan" (Inspected by official public assayers Tong and She). "Guan Gong Gu Zhou Chen Kan" (Inspected by official public assayers Zhou and Chen). "Lei Qing Yuan Hao Hui Hao Wen Yin" (Leiqingyuan bank, remittance bank fine silver). Bold, crisp and lustrous outer stamps somewhat subdued by minor earthen deposits. The central stamps are decently applied though each have minor weaknesses. Very attractive patina, much nicer than normally encountered displaying a lovely variable rainbow of colors on the sides of the outer stamps that nearly covers the whole spectrum. While other areas are highlighted by hues of rose, gold and blue. Clearly an example which sat for a prolonged period of time undisturbed.
