179.76 gms. BMC-Class LXVI Group I #1000. "Gong Gu Tong She Duan Kan" (Inspected by public assayers Tong, She and Duan). "Bao Quan Tai Ji Hao Wen Yin" (Baoquantai Bank, remittance bank fine silver). The left and right outer stamps deeply applied with good definition of the characters while the central stamp is weak with missing portions of the characters. The middle side stamps are nearly complete and clear. A deep peripheral toned example with a somewhat of a rich dusty slate colored patina in the outer stamps and the recesses of the middle and central stamps which transitions to a medium grey. A nice example with much character.
