32 mm, 14 gms. By Ortner & Houle in London. Obv: MIH-HO-LOONG SHANGHAI, coat-of-arms with dragon left; below, ribbon inscribed with SAY THE WORD AND DOWN COMES YOUR HOUSE. Issued for the private brigade (founded 1866) which served Shanghai. Meticulously struck with attractive blended multicolored toning in the fields and richer golden amber hues around the designs. The mount may or may not be original, but it was expertly attached and does not detract in the slightest from the appearance. VERY RARE.
