CHINA. Shanghai Mint Anniversary Bronze Medal, 1984. NGC MS-69.
Mintage: 2,000. Struck for the 30th anniversary of the Shanghai Mint building. While technically not a Panda issue, the illustration of several Panda coins (and three pattern issues!) in the reverse design has resulted in collectors seeking this issue alongside other Panda types. An exceptional example, this piece displays surfaces that are free from handling or unsightly oxidation. Undoubtedly highly desirable as the single finest example graded by NGC as well.
