KM-18; Sun-B17b1. A SCARCE proof version of the yuan struck for circulation 1980-86. We were only able to locate one other example from this series in proof, a 1985 NGC PF69 (Heritage sale 3065, Hong Kong, June 2018, lot 31274) where it hammered for an impressive $3,600-. Sharply struck with hard mirrored fields and frosted devices. Free of tone, haze or fog.
