GREAT BRITAIN. Trade Dollar, 1904/898-B. Bombay Mint. Edward VII. NGC MS-62+.
KM-T5; Mars-BTD1. Crisply detailed with pale golden color in the fields that deepens around the peripheries on both sides. VERY SCARCE as a variety and certainly the most interesting overdate in this series, with remnants of all three prior digits in the date becoming legible when viewed under magnification. As the only Mint State graded example of the variety at either NGC or PCGS, a coin that will certainly attract intense competition from the collector of this fascinating series of trade coinage.
From the Mirs Bay Collection.
Estimate: $1500.00- $3000.00
