11.49 gms. Krisadaolarn-pg. 47 A705; Hall-pg. 154 paragraph 3; Taylor-pg. 101. Obverse: Four pedaled sandalwood blossom; Reverse: Stylized Devanagari character. The various gold, silver, copper and billon Srivijaya sandalwood blossom ingots are found in several locations throughout south-east Asia including Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. This example, rather handsome for the issue, exhibits dark patina mixed with minor earthen deposits, encrustation and verdigris.
