Obverse: Japanese soldier in combat gear facing away at center gazing at the island of Corregidor in the distance, legend above; Reverse: Two palm trees with a seven-line poem by General Homma filling the fields and surrounding the four bright stars of the constellation Pegasus. Attractive pearl gray fields which on close examination will reveal light to moderate chasing marks on both sides.
