INDIA, Kushan Empire. Vasishka. Circa AD 247-267. AV Quarter Dinar (13mm, 1.91 g, 12h). Main mint in Gandhara. Late phase. Vasishka standing left, holding filleted standard, sacrificing over altar to left; filleted trident to left; tha in Brahmi between legs; a in Brahmi to right of scepter / Ithyphallic Siva standing facing, holding a garland or diadem and trident; tha in Brahmi between legs; behind, the bull Nandi standing left; tamgha to upper left. Cf. MK 624 (dinar); ANS Kushan –; cf. Donum Burns 700 (same); Zeno –. VF, traces of depsoits. Appently unknown as a quarter dinar with the additional tha on the reverse.
