Diademed head of Mithradates to right (or more likely his brother Arkathias II) wearing bashlyk; horse countermark punched against his neck. Rev. BA M-IΘΡ around club. ACV -. CSC -. Kovacs 34. for c/m Kovacs 11. Dark brown patina; extremely rare type and apparently unpublished prior to Kovacs in 2016, and not recorded countermark for this type. Very fine.
