KINGS OF ARMENIA. Tigranes the Younger, 77/6-66 BC. Dichalkon (Bronze, 19 mm, 4.55 g, 12 h), sixth series, Artaxata, year 8 (Η) = 69-68. Diademed head of Tigranes the Younger to right, wearing five-pointed Armenian tiara decorated with a comet. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ TIΓPANOY Palm branch; below ΞEP monogram and H (date). ACV -. CAA -. Kovacs 151. A very rare coin unpublished prior to Kovacs's work in 2016. Almost untouched green surfaces. Some earthen deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
