Diademed, draped, and bearded bust of Tigranes to right, wearing tiara decorated with three eagles. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΤΙΓΡΑΝΟΥ ΜΕΓΑΛΟΥ (retrograde) Eagle standing to left. ACV -. CAA -. Kovacs 185.1. A very rare type, unpublished prior to Kovacs; interesting variation, attractive portrait. Very fine.
