S C to centre, (S.1783, RIC 63, C.93); Nero Claudius Drusus, (father of Claudius) (died 9 B.C.), posthumous issue struck by Claudius, (A.D. 41-2), (25.15 g), obv. Drusus head to left, rev. Claudius seated left on curule chair with arms around, holding a branch, (S.1897, RIC 109 [Claudius], BMCRE 208-211a, BN 198-203). Toning, some surface pitting, poor - fine and rare. (3)
