CLAUDIUS, (A.D. 41-54), silver denarius, (3.42 g), issued 51-52, Rome mint, obv. TI CLAVD CAESAR AVG P M TR [P XI IMP PP] COS V, laureate head to right, rev. PACI AVGVSTAE around, Pax-Nemesis winged, advancing to right, holding winged caduceus pointing down at snake, (cf.S.1846, RIC 62, RSC 68). Uneven toning, some surface pitting, otherwise good fine and very rare.
