VESPASIAN, (A.D. 69-79), silver denarius, probably Ephesus mint, issue of A.D. 71, (3.054 grams), obv. IMP CAESAR VESPAS AVG [COS II TR P] PP, laureate head to right, rev. LIBERI IMP [AVG VESPAS] around, Titus and Domitian veiled standing to left, each holding a patera, (S.-, RIC 315, RSC 248). Off centred reverse, otherwise very fine and a rare type.
