PAIR TO KIA: British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19. GS-37352 Pte. J.Smith. R.Fus. Both medals impressed. Ribbons marked with adhesive tape, medals cleaned, otherwise very fine.

Together with a WWI Memorial Plaque named to James Smith, the plaque cleaned and with remnants of adhesive on the reverse.

GS (General Service Enlistment) - 37352 Pte James Smith 4Bn, Royal Fusiliers was born in Kings Cross, London and enlisted in Norwich. He was killed in action on 03May1918 at age 31 in France and was buried at Sandpits British Cemetery, Fouquereuil, Pas de Calais, France.
