GROUP OF FOUR: Reserve Force Decoration with Bar; National Medal with Bar; Australian Defence Medal; Efficiency Decoration (EIIR) with two Bars and with Australia brooch bar. 289176 Trent P.H. on first medal, 289176 P H Trent on second and third medal, 289176 Maj P H Trent CMF on last medal, the reverse of the Bars on the Efficiency Decoration engraved, P.H.Trent and the other 289276 Maj P H Trent CMF. The first three medals pantographed, the last engraved. All with ribbon brooch bars, extremely fine - uncirculated.

Together with matching miniature medals, the first and last swing mounted; a riband bar as well as miniature bars for medals and individual ribands for first three; cases for all medals, the last of these with foxing on lid lining; Army uniform shoulder boards for Lt-Colonel (RAEME); Army uniform bullion shoulder cords for Lt-Colonel; Royal Australian Electrical & Mechanical Engineers pair of embroidered shoulder titles; REME hat badge (QC); RAEME hat badges (2) and collar badges (2), all QC; RAEME buttons in metal, small (4, gilt, 5 silvered) (9), and large (13 gilt); Austrian WWI Commemorative Medal (extremely fine but reverse of medal details removed), also riband with crossed swords (Note that Peter Trent was born in Austria so this medal has probably been passed down through the family).

First Bar to Efficiency Decoration: CAG No.85 17/10/1968, p5898 to 289176 Major Peter Henry Trent, Royal Corps of Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.

Second Bar to Efficiency Decoration: AGG No.62 30/7/1974, p12 to 289176 Lieutenant-Colonel Peter Henry Trent, Royal Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.

Peter Henry Trent, born 13May1922 at Vienna, Austria. Served in AMF and CMF between 1947 and 1981.
