PARTHIAN KINGDOM. Orodes II. Ca. 57-38 BC. Silver Tetradrachm (13.52 gm; 29 mm). Seleukeia on Tigris. Diademed and draped bust of Orodes left, wearing neck torque ending in sear horse and elaborate robe embroidered with pearls and griffin / Orodes seated left, holding Nike, who crowns him with wreath, and scepter. Sellwood 48.1; Shore 212; Sunrise 375. Well struck on a nice flan. Couple of ancient graffiti on the obverse field. about Extremely Fine / Very Fine. Lightly toned.
