17th-18th Century Halfcrowns (7), including, Charles I, 14.52g, m.m. sun; Charles II, 1684 over 3 (ESC 499 [R4] {492}; S.3367), slight weakness by date, the rare variety nevertheless clear, good fine, rare; also, William and Mary (3), 1689 primo, rev. first shield, caul and interior frosted, with pearls (ESC 826 {503}); also, 1691 tertio (ESC 850 {516}); 1693 over inverted 3, (ESC 857 {521}); additionally, Anne, 1712, rev. roses and plumes in angles; lastly, George II, Halfcrown, 1746 lima, some previously wiped otherwise generally fine or better (7).
