Fonteius C. f., 85 BC, AR Denarius, 3.75g, laureate head of Apollo Vejovis right, c.f below chin, thunderbolt below head, mn fontei behind, rev. infant Genius seated on goat right, a pileus on either side, thyrsus in exergue and all within laurel wreath (Crawford 353/1d; RSC Fonteia 11; Syd 724b), attractive old cabinet tone, about extremely fine.
