Mussidius Longus, 42 BC, AR Denarius, 3.85g, diademed and veiled bust of Concordia right, concordia behind, crescent below, rev. l. mvssidivs longvs above platform inscribed cloacin, with two statues of Venus Cloacina (Craw 494/42c; RSC Mussidia 6a; Syd 1093b), lustrous and well centered with beautiful old cabinet tone, a superb extremely fine, scarce in this condition.
