Antonius, 38-37 BC, AR Denarius, 3.86g, Athens, radiate head of Sol, iii. vir r. p c. cos. desig. iter. et. tert, rev. m. antonivs m. f. m. n. avgvr imp. tert, Mark Antony dressed as a priest, standing right, holding lituus (Craw 533/2; RSC 13a; Syd 1199), some light surface marks to field, nonetheless beautiful old cabinet tone with Antony's face superbly detailed, extremely fine, rare.
