Augustus (27 BC-14 AD), AR Denarius, struck 18 BC, uncertain Spanish mint, 3.80g, s. p. q. r. paren. cons. svo, Roman eagle, consular robes and wreath, rev. triumphal quadriga right, ornamented with one Victory and surmounted by a small galloping quadriga, caesari above, avgvsto in exergue (RSC 78b; RIC 296 variety), attractively toned with the reverse well centered, good very fine, scarce.
