Extremely Fine; especially appealing portrait; attractive old tone; fresh underlying surfaces; slight chip just affecting the outer circle at 6. Rare.

Dolley and Skaare (Stenton festschrift, 1961) comment about the appeal of this portrait rating it "a greatly improved version of that found on certain coins of Phase 2...."
