IMP C VAL LIC LICINIVS P F AVGG laureate head right / IOVI CONSERVATORI Jupiter standing left, holding Victory and sceptre; in left field: eagle standing left, holding wreath in beak; in exergue: HTA. RIC 12. RRRRR. Very Fine. This follis' has an unusual alloying. Usually these emissions where strictly made out of copper. However, this coin has a copper/silver alloying and no officina mark. Possibly a trial strike?
