SICILY, Leontini. Circa 440-430 BC. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 16.59 g, 9h). Laureate head of Apollo left / Head of roaring lion right; four barley grains around. Boehringer, Münzgeschichte 51 var. (rev. type left; same obv. die); HGC 2, 670 var. (same). Near VF, toned, some roughness, scratches. Rare variety.
