CILICIA, Aegeae. Hadrian. AD 117-138. AR Tetradrachm (27.5mm, 13.52 g, 5h). Dated CY 177 (AD 130/1). Laureate and cuirassed bust right, slight drapery / Eagle standing facing on harpa, head and tail right, with wings spread; in exergue, goat kneeling right; ETOYΣ ZOP (date) in legend. Prieur 719; SNG Levante –; SNG BN –; RPC III 3343/5 (this coin cited and illustrated). VF, lightly toned, touch of porosity. Extremely rare, only one known to Prieur, and four on CoinArchives.
