VF, toned, roughness. Extremely rare, only this coin on CoinArchives.

From the Michel Prieur Collection. Ex Classical Numismatic Group 43 (24 September 1997), lot 1048.

In our description for this coin in CNG 43, we noted: "Only one tridrachm of Domna, year 16, is recorded by Sydenham. The letters ANTΩ are unrecorded in any denomination. Might they make reference to a short-lived renaming of the city in honor of the new emperor in 211 (Caesarea Antoniniana)? Possibly of great historical interest."
