Neptune standing left, naked except for cloak hanging over arm, behind back and over left shoulder and upper arm, holding small dolphin in outstretched right hand and trident in left. RIC (Cal.) 58. AE. g. 10.71 mm. 29.00 An outstanding example, with a spectacular portrait, from masterly engraved dies. Superb reddish brown patina, with green hues. Gently smoothed, otherwise EF.
